    Adobe apps gain native support for Windows on ARM

    Adobe has recently released version 26.0 updates for Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Media Encoder, officially adding native support for Windows on ARM. These apps can now run directly on Windows devices powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X series ARM processors. The software requires at least Windows 11 (Build 26100.2033), a minimum of 16 GB of RAM, and Qualcomm Adreno GPU driver version 31.0.121.1 or later. Adobe also made it clear that older versions (25.x and earlier) were not designed or tested for Windows on ARM devices, and normal operation cannot be guaranteed.

    However, the native ARM versions still come with certain limitations. For example, Premiere Pro currently does not support Loudness Radar, Wraptor DCP export, GoPro CineForm import and export, or P2 Movie format export. After Effects lacks the Cinema 4D renderer and only supports third-party plugins that have been specifically compiled for Windows on ARM. Source


    X faces EU investigation over pornographic deepfake content spread by Grok

    In recent weeks, users on X in multiple countries have reported that Grok has generated pornographic deepfake content and that it has been circulated on the platform. Recently, the UK communications regulator has formally launched an investigation into whether X has violated the UK Online Safety Act. France and India have also followed by issuing formal accusations against X. As global criticism continues to escalate, the European Union has officially issued an investigation order. This probe covers all 27 EU member states and focuses on whether X has adequately assessed and mitigated the relevant risks in accordance with the Digital Services Act.

    The act sets strict regulatory red lines for harmful and illegal online content. If online platforms fail to properly address illegal content and disinformation, or otherwise breach the relevant rules, the EU may impose fines of up to 6% of their global annual revenue. Source


    China’s National Press and Publication Administration releases game approval list for January 2026

    On January 26, China’s National Press and Publication Administration officially released the Approval Information for Domestic Online Games for January 2026 and the Approval Information for Imported Online Games for January 2026. A total of 177 domestic games were approved, including titles such as Soul Land: Journey and I Am MT 5.     State Post Bureau deploys measures to ensure parcel delivery services during the 2026 Spring Festival travel season

    China’s State Post Bureau recently issued the Work Plan for Ensuring Delivery Services During the 2026 Spring Festival Travel Season (hereinafter referred to as the “Work Plan”), stressing the need to balance meeting public demand for parcel delivery with protecting the legitimate rights and interests of couriers, and to effectively ensure delivery services during the 2026 Spring Festival travel period. Postal and courier companies are required to focus on pre-holiday consumer demand for New Year goods, collect parcels in a timely manner, and provide delivery services as agreed. China Post Group is required to ensure the continuous provision of universal postal services. All courier companies are also instructed to scientifically forecast changes in business volume, reasonably formulate their holiday operating plans, announce their service hours and service areas to the public in advance, and strictly provide services in accordance with the published information to meet basic delivery needs during the Spring Festival holiday.

    At the same time, multiple courier companies have released service notices for the 2026 Spring Festival period.     Apple releases new AirTag and other new products

    On January 26, Apple introduced a new AirTag, with pricing unchanged at RMB 249 for a single unit and RMB 849 for a four-pack. The new AirTag is equipped with the same second-generation ultra-wideband chip found in devices such as the iPhone 17, making it easier to locate and extending the tracking range by up to 50% compared with the previous generation. The upgraded Bluetooth chip also allows users, for the first time, to use Precision Finding to locate AirTag via Apple Watch Series 9 and later models, as well as Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later models. The built-in speaker is also 50% louder than before.     HMD unveils multiple new products including the HMD Watch X1 and P1

    HMD has unveiled two new smartwatches, the Watch X1 and Watch P1. The Watch X1 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 600 nits and a resolution of 466 × 466. It supports always-on display (AOD) and has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, with battery life of up to five days with AOD enabled. The Watch P1 comes with a 1.83-inch LCD screen with a peak brightness of 550 nits and a resolution of 240 × 284, an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, and battery life of up to four days.     Microsoft releases the Maia 200 AI accelerator chip

    On January 26, Microsoft unveiled the Maia 200 chip. Built on TSMC’s 3nm process, the Maia 200 features native FP8/FP4 tensor cores, a 216 GB HBM3e memory system with 7 TB/s of bandwidth, and 272 MB of on-chip SRAM. Microsoft described the Maia 200 as a breakthrough inference accelerator that is 30% faster than its predecessor, the Maia 100. The chip has already been deployed in Microsoft’s U.S. Central data center and its U.S. West 3 data center. Source


    Nintendo releases “Chatty Huahua”

    Last week, Nintendo announced its new accessory, the “Talking Flower,” on its official website and YouTube channel. The accessory is designed after a classic NPC from the Super Mario series. Compact in size, the Talking Flower is suitable as a decorative item for the home or desktop. When left alone, it will occasionally “talk to itself,” roughly twice per hour. Users can also interact with it by pressing the button in front of the flower, with each press delivering a different surprise. The Talking Flower is currently known to support 10 languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, with the option to switch between them.     Focast: A High-Fidelity Ambient Sound App for Focus

    With Focast, you can freely create focus and break sessions. The app provides default timers of 10, 25, 40, and 60 minutes, and also supports custom durations. You can start sessions quickly using keyboard shortcuts. Once a focus timer begins, the menu bar icon displays a visual countdown, making it easy to keep track of your session. When the timer ends, Focast plays a gentle notification sound to signal completion, and this sound can also be customized—a thoughtful touch.

    The Focus Calendar View lets you review your focus days and streaks. If you’re serious about building a habit of concentration, maintaining a streak through these records can be very motivating. The app also supports iCloud sync, so your sound settings, timers, and statistics can be synchronized across devices.

    Samsung Internet Windows Beta Update: Regional Restrictions Lifted

    @大大大K: Samsung Internet had previously been released on Windows, but installation was later discontinued for various reasons. Recently, however, Samsung unexpectedly relaunched a Windows Beta version, and users from any region can now download and install it via a designated link (even though the page still states that it is limited to South Korea and the United States). If you are using the international version of Samsung Internet on Android, you will also see the download link promoted on the browser’s homepage.

    In terms of UI, the new client is not very different from the version released two years ago, and it still retains the highly distinctive sidebar feature. The “Synced Devices” section can synchronize the quick-access page from the mobile browser and display web content in a mobile-device view. The calendar feature syncs directly with events in your Samsung account and also supports adding a Google account to display Google Calendar. If needed, you can add new website shortcuts at the bottom of the sidebar.

    The quick-access page has received a minor upgrade, now supporting background changes and the addition of small widgets such as device sync, privacy reports, and a weather clock. Notably, the device sync feature can display tabs from the mobile browser here. In actual testing, newly opened tabs on the phone sync very quickly, but syncing after closing tabs is noticeably slower.

    The “Browsing Assistant” feature in the Windows Beta includes summary extraction and translation. The summary function is powered by Galaxy AI, and its performance is similar to that on mobile, allowing AI to summarize webpage content for reference. However, possibly due to network or other limitations, errors may occur when connecting to the cloud-based AI, so users with the right conditions may want to test it themselves.

    The translation feature appears to be powered by Google Translate, and the browser supports a split-screen view of the original text and the translation, which is especially convenient for academic users.

    In addition, the mobile version of Samsung Internet supports saving login credentials to Samsung Pass (including for users in mainland China). The Windows Beta also supports this feature, but it requires the Samsung Pass client to be installed on the computer. Since the Samsung Pass client has device restrictions, it is currently unusable for most users. That said, as the Windows Beta is based on the Chromium 136 engine and supports Chrome extensions, it is still recommended to use a dedicated password manager and browser extensions.

    If you are a Samsung user and want a more complete Galaxy Ecosystem experience, you can try this Beta version via the official website. The browser is forcibly installed on the system drive, and during installation it will also install Samsung Account and Samsung Smart Service components and create Start Menu entries, so be sure to leave enough disk space.

    Quiche Browser: A Browser with Customizable Layout

In an era where everyone is “racing to add AI,” it doesn’t introduce an advanced conversational engine or use algorithms to intelligently prioritize tabs. Instead, it hands interaction control back to users, allowing them to freely arrange and combine a rich set of functional buttons to build their ideal browser.

    The toolbar at the bottom of the browser is the area with the highest degree of freedom in Quiche Browser. However, the app doesn’t simply give you a “blank sheet of paper” to do whatever you want. Instead, it offers 16 layout presets in the settings. You can choose one based on your habits and then fine-tune it further on top of the preset.

    The app provides more than 40 interactive buttons, covering everything from frequently used actions such as forward, back, refresh, and new tab, to functions usually paired with shortcuts like zoom, find, and quick navigation. You can freely select the buttons you need and arrange them within the preset framework. Taking the standard two-row layout as an example, the first row can hold up to four buttons in addition to the address bar, and the second row up to seven buttons. If you still have more frequently used functions, you can place them in the “More” menu.

    Through this kind of “limited freedom,” Quiche Browser manages to meet users’ personalization needs while still maintaining a clean and aesthetically pleasing design.

    Quiche Browser also allows fine-grained customization of how the address bar is displayed. For example, you can choose to show only the domain, the full URL, the page title, and/or the site icon, adjust the text to be left-aligned or centered, and display estimated reading time. In terms of interaction, you can assign different actions to short-press and long-press gestures on the address bar, further improving efficiency.

    Beyond page interaction, Quiche Browser adds several functional features to compensate for its lack of third-party extension support. The app enables ad blocking by default and includes three built-in rule sets that you can toggle as needed, although adding custom rules is not currently supported.

    It also supports forcing dark mode on all webpages. If you subscribe to the Quiche Plus service, you can additionally choose custom theme colors. The app further allows you to adjust many other options such as the default search engine, private browsing mode, background refresh behavior, and user agent (UA).     Activas: A Local AI Health Analysis Assistant

    Some time ago, OpenAI introduced the ChatGPT Health feature, which on iOS can even directly import data from the Health app for analysis and suggestions. One can’t help but wonder whether this made Apple feel a bit uneasy, considering that its own promised “enhanced health assistant” has yet to materialize.

    If you can’t wait for that day to come, and you’d rather not share your data with OpenAI, you might want to try Activas. This app uses Apple’s on-device ML APIs to analyze data and provide corresponding suggestions based on your health information.

    After opening Activas, the app will request permission to access Apple Health data. Once you complete some basic setup, you’ll enter the Dashboard. Here, you can see an overall score summarizing your physical condition. Tapping into the details page shows the specific factors behind changes in the score.

    In the Insights module, the AI generates a summary based on your current health data. Scrolling down, you’ll find data across different categories such as Activity, Nutrition, Sleep, Vitals, and Body Measurements. Tapping any of these modules takes you to the Activas AI tab, where the AI provides analysis and recommendations tailored to that category.

    However, this health chatbot can only respond to preset questions and doesn’t allow you to freely type in your own queries, which feels somewhat limiting.

    Overall, the app’s functionality is quite simple and serves more as a technical showcase of Apple’s on-device AI capabilities. Activas can be downloaded for free from the App Store (in regions outside mainland China) and has no in-app purchases. The Insights and chat features require Apple Intelligence to be enabled, while basic functions such as data display and trend charts are available without restrictions.

    “What Time Is It”: A Fun Time App Combining Calendar, Perpetual Calendar, and the Chinese Almanac

    @化学心情下2: As a fairly traditional Chinese person, I see a calendar as more than just a way to know what day of the week it is, the date, or what appointments I have. It’s also for checking solar terms and flipping through the old Chinese almanac—functions that may look a bit “superstitious,” but are in fact part of traditional Chinese folk culture. In practice, I’ve seen many standalone almanac or perpetual calendar apps, but far fewer that combine a modern calendar, a perpetual calendar, and the traditional almanac into one. “What Time Is It” is a beautifully designed and playful time-related app I discovered recently that does exactly that.

    From the app’s name alone, it’s easy to tell that it emphasizes traditional Chinese timekeeping. When you open the home screen, you’ll see a clock along with the corresponding traditional two-hour time period (shichen), as well as the lunar month and date. The app also annotates each shichen with its pinyin pronunciation—for example, if the current time is “Wei hour (未时),” it will display the pinyin “Wei” next to the character.

    Taking the macOS version as an example, you can switch between different calendar views via the tabs at the top. In the perpetual calendar section, you can not only view dates by month, but also see the corresponding lunar calendar information, today’s “auspicious and inauspicious” activities from the almanac, and upcoming 24 solar terms and holidays. Switching to the calendar events view allows the app to read system calendar events from macOS or iOS.

    Switching to the traditional almanac view shows information such as today’s recommended and avoided activities, the auspicious and inauspicious hours of the day, today’s “fetal god” position, favorable deities to approach, and unfavorable deities to avoid. For users who are not familiar with these concepts, you can tap the help button in the top-right corner to see explanations.

    “What Time Is It” also offers two small features that I find particularly practical. The first is festival notification reminders: in addition to receiving alerts for festivals on the day itself, you can choose to enable specific categories of holidays. Currently supported categories include statutory public holidays, traditional festivals, solar terms, domestic holidays, international holidays, Taoist festivals, Buddhist festivals, the 72 pentads, the Sanfu days, and the “Shujiu” cold-day periods.

    The second is its widget support. macOS now allows widgets to be added directly to the desktop, and “What Time Is It” happens to provide a wide variety of them. Personally, I really like the widget that combines a clock with the current shichen, so I can tell the time at a glance on my desktop—it’s even more convenient than looking up to the top-right corner of the screen.

    Overall, both in terms of functionality and design, “What Time Is It” cleverly integrates multiple calendar formats into a single app, allowing you to check the modern calendar, the perpetual calendar, and the traditional almanac all in one place. If you’re looking for an elegant and full-featured traditional time app, it’s well worth a try. You can download it from the App Store, and it is priced at 8 RMB.

    Xiaomi unveils multiple new products

    On December 25, Xiaomi unveiled a range of new products, including the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, 17 Ultra Leica Edition, Xiaomi Buds 6, and Xiaomi Watch 5.

    First up is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi’s latest imaging flagship. In terms of design, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra series features a 2D flat display paired with a completely flat, straight-edged frame. With a thickness of 8.29 mm, it is the slimmest Ultra model in the series to date. Color options include black, white, purple, and green, and the device supports IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

    On the imaging front, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is equipped with a Leica 1-inch Light Fusion Master main camera and a Leica 200-megapixel optical zoom telephoto lens. The main camera uses the Light Fusion 1050L sensor, featuring a 1-inch large sensor, 3.2 μm pixels, an f/1.67 aperture, and third-generation LOFIC ultra-high dynamic range technology. Its single-pixel full well capacity has increased to 6.3× that of the previous generation, supporting high dynamic range scenarios such as Fireworks mode. The telephoto camera adopts a new-generation HPE sensor, reducing power consumption by 40% compared to its predecessor. It measures 1/1.4 inches and delivers 200 megapixels. This lens supports continuous optical zoom, covering 75 mm to 100 mm mid-telephoto full-sensor optical output, with telephoto relay options at 200 mm and 400 mm. It is also the first Leica APO optical lens on a mobile device, supporting 4K Live Photos and multiple camera movement modes.

    For the display, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a 6.9-inch low-power “sunlight” display using M10 emissive materials and a new red primary emissive material, protected by Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition processor, paired with a 6800 mAh battery that supports 90 W wired fast charging, 50 W wireless fast charging, and the PPS universal fast charging protocol. In terms of connectivity, it supports Xiaomi Star Communication and UWB ultra-wideband interconnection technology. Pricing starts at RMB 6,999 for the 12 GB + 512 GB configuration.

    Following the launch of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi also introduced the 17 Ultra Leica Edition. This version continues Leica’s design language in its exterior details, including the iconic Leica red dot, a black-and-white two-tone body, finely knurled frame, and exclusive Leica engravings. The rear camera area features a Master Zoom Ring for focal length adjustment, with customizable parameters such as exposure compensation and white balance.     Microsoft announces BitLocker will support hardware acceleration

    Microsoft has announced that BitLocker in Windows 11 (25H2) and Windows Server 2025 now supports CPU hardware encryption. After enabling BitLocker, the encryption workload is shifted from the software layer to a dedicated encryption engine, reducing the performance overhead typically caused by software-based encryption.     Critical security vulnerability discovered in MongoDB

    A critical security vulnerability has recently been disclosed in the popular non-relational database MongoDB. Assigned CVE-2025-14847, the flaw affects multiple versions of MongoDB and MongoDB Server. The vulnerability stems from inconsistent handling of length parameters, which could allow unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code and gain control of affected systems.

    Microsoft faces mounting criticism for repeatedly hyping Copilot

    Over the past two weeks, Microsoft has repeatedly faced criticism from media outlets and users over its heavy-handed promotion of Copilot AI features on social media.

    On November 11, Pavan Davuluri, head of Windows, posted on X announcing Microsoft’s ambition to turn Windows into an “Agentic OS.” The reply section quickly filled with users expressing frustration with the system’s increasing bloat and urging Microsoft to stop stuffing AI and ads into Windows. Davuluri later closed comments on the post.

    On November 15, tech YouTuber UrAvgConsumer posted a short video ad demonstrating Windows 11 Copilot. In the video, when the user asks Copilot how to enlarge on-screen text, Copilot fails to direct them to the correct “Text Size” settings page and instead suggests changing the “Display Scaling,” which is already set to 150%. The presenter manually clicks 200%, but the ad’s editing and narration attempt to create the illusion that Copilot successfully solved the problem. Most viewers felt the video actually highlighted Copilot’s unreliability. The ad was later deleted.

    Regulations on Personal Information Protection for Major Online Platforms open for public comment

    On November 22, the Cyberspace Administration of China and the Ministry of Public Security jointly released the Personal Information Protection Regulations for Large Online Platforms, now open for public comment. The deadline for feedback is December 22, 2025.

    The regulations define “large online platforms” as those with over 50 million registered users, more than 10 million monthly active users, or platforms whose data—if leaked—would significantly impact national security or key public interests. The document sets forth a series of requirements for platform management and organizational structure. Platforms must appoint a Personal Information Protection Officer, who must be a Chinese national without permanent residency abroad, hold a management-level position, and possess veto authority over personal information processing activities. Platforms must also establish a dedicated personal information protection unit responsible for internal policy development, risk assessment, and the protection of minors.

    Regarding data localization and storage security, the regulations stipulate that personal information collected or generated within China must be stored domestically. Data centers storing such information must also be located within China, and their primary responsible persons must be Chinese nationals without overseas residency. If a third-party data center is commissioned, the platform must sign a strict contract and ensure ongoing oversight.

    For user rights protection, the regulations require large platforms to offer convenient channels for users to exercise their rights to access, copy, correct, or delete their personal information. Upon receiving a user request, platforms must transfer the requested data in a standardized, machine-readable format within 30 working days (with a possible 30-day extension for complex cases).

    Additionally, the regulations mandate periodic compliance audits and risk assessments for large platforms. If an entrusted third-party professional institution discovers significant risks, it is authorized to report directly to cybersecurity authorities. For platforms with severe risks or repeated violations, regulators may require mandatory audits by third-party institutions.

    HP and Dell disable H.265 hardware codec support to cut costs

    According to a report from Ars Technica, HP and Dell have recently begun disabling the built-in HEVC (H.265) hardware codec support in the CPUs of their laptops. HEVC is a widely used high-efficiency compression standard for HD video. With hardware support disabled, users processing such video formats lose access to CPU-level hardware acceleration and must rely instead on far less efficient software decoding—resulting in reduced performance and increased power consumption.

    The primary motive behind this move is the upcoming rise in HEVC patent licensing fees. Industry data indicates that beginning January next year, the per-unit royalty for manufacturers selling over 100,000 devices will increase from USD $0.20 to $0.24 per unit. In the third quarter of 2025 alone, HP and Dell shipped 15 million and 10.16 million PCs respectively, meaning even a slight rate adjustment translates directly into millions of dollars in additional cost.

    In response, some Reddit users pointed out that disabling support for a professional video standard on a device priced above $800 and marketed as “Pro” is simply absurd.

Musk has long touted Grok as an AI designed to “maximize pursuit of truth,” distinguishing it from competitors like ChatGPT, which he criticizes as “overly woke.” Yet Grok’s current behavior resembles that of a blind superfan, often offering the highest possible praise for Musk regardless of facts.

    Multiple user-driven comparison tests have produced laughable responses. For instance, Grok has claimed that Musk is more physically fit than LeBron James, funnier than comedian Jerry Seinfeld, and more handsome than Hollywood star Brad Pitt (because “handsome faces favor visionary disruptors who reshape reality”). Grok even asserted that Musk could be resurrected faster than Jesus.

    Analysts suggest the phenomenon may be tied to Grok’s retrieval mechanisms and training data biases. When answering questions about Musk, Grok appears to prioritize Musk’s own past posts as reference material, causing its perception to be dominated by Musk’s self-assessment and that of his supporters. Moreover, large language models still struggle with sycophancy, and Grok seems to have amplified this tendency to an extreme—directing it squarely at its creator.

    UK Armed Forces Esports Championship to feature Call of Duty and drone-simulation events

    According to The Telegraph, on November 21, the UK Ministry of Defence announced the launch of the International Defence Esports Games (IDEG), aimed at using mainstream video games such as Call of Duty to enhance soldiers’ “combat readiness.” The event will bring together military teams from more than 40 countries, who will compete against UK-based players dubbed “future cyber warriors.” Registration for the inaugural competition begins in January next year, with finals scheduled for October at the National Esports Arena in Sunderland.

    In addition to Call of Duty, which simulates traditional infantry combat, the tournament will include a drone simulation category. This event is designed to replicate frontline drone operations commonly seen in Ukraine, helping operators improve precision strikes and reaction speed in complex environments. The Deputy Commander of UK Strategic Command’s Cyber and Special Operations division noted that the conflict in Ukraine has clearly demonstrated the real-world value of gaming technology in training drone operators and strengthening cyberwarfare capabilities. X’s product lead, Nikita Bier, previewed this feature back in October, stating that its purpose is to increase transparency and combat bots and fake accounts.

    The feature is being rolled out gradually. Users can view the information by clicking the account’s registration date on the profile page. In terms of privacy controls, X defaults to showing location at the country or regional level, but it also allows users to display a broader geographic area or continent instead.

    For the detected country or region, X displays a note warning that the information may not be accurate—it may reflect a travel destination or temporary relocation, and will be periodically updated. If the system detects that a user is using a VPN to mask their real location, it may display a warning on the account page.

    After this data became public, many prominent accounts that loudly promote pro-Trump “America First” (MAGA) messaging were found to be operated from places such as Russia, India, Nigeria, and Eastern Europe—suggesting that operators in these regions may be exploiting U.S. political polarization to generate divisive content, boost engagement, and earn dollar-denominated platform revenue. When printing with more than seven filament colors, the system can calculate the optimal mapping combinations to minimize purge waste.

Inside, it features Bambu’s self-developed PMSM servo extruder motor capable of delivering up to 10 kg of extrusion force.     Microsoft to Improve Windows 11 Advanced Recovery Tools

    On November 19, Microsoft announced that it will introduce several new recovery tools and features in Windows 11, aiming to help users restore their computers to a normal working state after catastrophic failures.

    My journey of choosing laptops began in 2014, when I bought my first computer as a new university student—a ThinkPad L14 (2014 model). In May 2025, I added the MacBook Air 15-inch M4 to my lineup; and by October of the same year, I bought the Surface Pro 11 X Plus, officially beginning my exploration of the Windows-on-ARM experience. Over the past decade, my laptop choices have shifted with the changes in my studies, work, and lifestyle—they reflect not only my evolving professional needs, but also the broader transitions of computing platforms and industry trends.

    The Strengths and Limitations of the Windows Ecosystem

    The advantages of using Windows are obvious. First, the Office suite on Windows offers an unparalleled experience—its performance and compatibility are both impeccable. Second, expandability is virtually unlimited. Over the years, I’ve always kept a desktop alongside my laptops—from an early Intel Hades Canyon NUC, to a self-built i7-11700 mATX desktop, and later an HP workstation with an i7-12700. The persistent fan noise of the Hades Canyon under sustained load eventually drove me toward better-cooled self-built systems and workstations, whose thermal performance once gave me the illusion of “limitless performance.”

    My main operating system has long been Windows 10, which has been stable for the past few years—I probably went one or two years without reinstalling it. Occasionally, I’d complain about Windows forcing updates and rebooting automatically, closing my browser and all work files. Other than that, the experience was generally good.
